Alexandria Angel Weber June 30th 2013 – July 2nd 2013

Alexandria Angel Weber was born on June 30, 2013 and passed away on July 2nd 2013.

Alexandria Weber was born on June 30, 2013, at just 23 weeks gestation due to her mother having preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. She and her mother where within hours of dying until she was born. Alexandria fought hard for her life for about 24 hours. She couldn’t fight anymore and her blood pressure went very, very low. So low, in fact, that her organs where not functioning anywhere near normal capacity. Despite every solution attempted, nothing was enough to get her blood pressure up and keep it up. She passed away on July 2, 2013, not even 60 hours old.

…Here is a short poem from her daddy:

Even though you never got to truly know us, your mommy and daddy both love you very much, you changed our lives in so many ways even before you were born. And although you were only with us on this earth for a very short time your mommy and daddy love you more than words could ever say. When you were very sick I just wanted to hold you and tell you that everything is going to be ok. Even with the best possible care and a team of  some of best doctors in the world, although I do not understand why, it seems that God had other plans for you. I thought I knew what it was to love and lose, but now I know that I am just now truly understanding love and loss. Even though you were only with us for a short couple of days your mommy and daddy love you and miss you very much and you will always be daddy’s little girl. I still don’t understand why god has decided to take you home early, but I am sure he has his reasons and this is somehow part of his plan. Your mommy and me will miss you terribly but you will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. We will see you again in heaven some day when that time comes. At least we do have some comfort knowing that you are with God now. We will always love and miss you, my darling, my dear, sweet little girl, my angel, Alexandria
